The present paper investigates the application of three-phase ZCZ sequence sets to AS-CDMA systems that use coded TPSK. First, we clarify possible three-phase ZCZ sequence sets and the features of these ZCZ sequence sets. Next, we clarify the structure of the periodic correlation function between sequences that belong to three-phase ZCZ sequence sets. Finally, we propose a method for constructing a group of three-phase ZCZ sequence sets that have low cross-correlation properties. The results are useful in designing AS-CDMA systems that use coded TPSK.
