Abstract

Development of existing e-Learning has to encounter some bottlenecks which must consider the needs of the learner during the learning processes. Thus, system development started from the educational needs to find the suitable learning technologies. In this paper, we have taken the strategy of the problem-based learning approach to combine the concept of knowledge management, collaborative learning and constructivism. We implemented these strategies via the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model to produce a complete learning process. These processes can be formally described by the specification of the IMS Learning Design (LD), and interpreted by the LD engine. The proposed system is called a Knowledge Management Learning System, where it can support learning-process progress and facilitate learners' learning more meaningfully.
