Abstract

E-governance initiatives in India have been crucial developmental activities undertaken in the recent years. Karnataka state in India has been foremost in implementing many of such e-governance related developmental projects. The paper in progress is an attempt to debate and explore the application of e-governance projects and policies in Indian situation. Implementation and functioning of the some of the e-governance policies and projects at the grass root levels in rural India are considered.
