Abstract

People in developing countries often do not have access to quality healthcare services. Precious lives frequently get compromised due to lack of timely medical attention. However, despite resource related problems, the developing world has seen an exponential growth in cellular telephony over the last decade. This growth has prompted us to propose an affordable, portable healthcare enabling system, using smartphones and wireless bio sensors.
