Abstract

A concept named "Small Knowledge" is described in which the targets of bookmarks are portions of Web pages along with personal contexts. A simple browsing model is used to extract the personal context, and a personal context extraction algorithm preserves the personal association. A prototype implementing this concept works in a manner analogous to taking photographs.
