Wireless communication is the fastest growing area of communication industry. To keep pace with the growing demands for high data rates MIMO systems were proposed. MIMO systems offers high data rate and successive interference cancellation V-BLAST ZF MAP and V-BLAST MMSE MAP symbol detection method assures reliable transmission at the receiver. However, most of the research in this area assumed that the antennas are uncorrelated to each other at both ends. But practically certain correlation exists between transmitter and receiver antennas. In this paper performance of V-BLAST ZF MAP and V-BLAST MMSE MAP symbol detection method is observed and compared with the other V-BLAST symbol detection methods under correlated channel condition.
