Abstract

The complexity of IT management within public administration indicates the need for structuring risks. In this paper, the business IT alignment model by [2] is adapted to risk management in e-government. Risks occur along the boundaries of strategic and operative units of public administration and IT organization. These interfaces challenge the alignment of these units. Questions arise with respect to the IT risk management and its implementation in e-government.
