This paper presents u-Vote, an e-voting system mainly for local and nationwide university elections, that can provide both poll site, kiosk and remote internet voting channels. u-Vote has been implemented since 2005 and is currently under Italian Ministry of University and Research certification process. u-Vote doesn't claim to be the most accurate and secure e-voting system: u-Vote is an on-line e-voting system that grants reliability, accuracy and privacy in defined contexts, in compliant with the standards on e-voting proposed by the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers.
