Accurate and appropriate demand estimation in decision making process is the leading activity to cope with the undesirable demand variability in supply chain network which arises from the chaotic nature of the system. As demand pattern varies due to the field of activity and architecture of supply chains networks, determining the appropriate forecasting and order decision model for system interested in is snarl. In this paper, the response of demand variability to a combined grey GM (1, 1) forecasting and ANFIS based order decision model is analyzed using a simple two stage supply chain network simulation.
