Abstract

Recently, there is a trend of interacting with electronics by touchable or noncontact UIs which are different from the legacy UI such as mice and keyboards. In addition, a small display and a computer shaped like a dummy box never kindle users' emotion and, what is more, the appreciative users don't overlook a counterfeit world. There are several researches for well-appointed interaction. Merits and demerits of legacy researches had been analyzed and our platform was designed with large displays, multi-touchable screen controller based-on infra-red, hand tracking, gesture recognition, and standardized middleware protocol for distributed environment and various services and then was implemented on x86-based computing resources.
