Abstract

This paper proposes a three-dimensional Context-awareness (CA) model for e-learning that involves: Awareness to Knowledge Context, Awareness to Social Context and Awareness to Technical Context. The proposed CA is promising to support learning services providing in the e-learning context, such as knowledge navigation and collaboration recommendation. This paper also discusses a CA-supported learning services providing mechanism, which is mediated by the mining of the activity contexts of learners in e-learning environments.
