Abstract

This study outlined the first step in developing online collaborative educational game that allow second language (L2) undergraduates improve their writing abilities by considering various CTD. Findings reveal that L2 undergraduates showed the various CTD characteristics: “Analyticity and Truth seeking”, “Systematicity and Inquisitive”, and “Open-mindedness”. By knowing the CTD, an interface designer would be able to take into account students' different levels of CTD in developing the L2 online collaborative educational game.
