Abstract

This paper presents a Multi-agent System and a Methodology to select and to integrate heterogenous and distributed information sources to make recommendations. A set of intrinsic characteristics has been defined. These characteristics allow having a description of the information contained in the sources to select the most relevant information sources. Ontologies are used to integrate the information from the selected sources. And a case study confirms our proposal.
