Abstract

This paper presents some models and paradigms in parallel scientific computing with emphasis on finite element applications in engineering. The motivation of this paper is the performance of the parallel computers and the broad range of finite element analysis for industrial problems. We present the inherent parallelism of the finite element method and algorithmic skeletons foe each stage of the finite element program.
