The recent enthusiasm in grid computing has givenrise to a large amount of research on resourcescheduling techniques. Most of the work on resourcescheduling is aimed to minimize the total response timefor a set of tasks. In this paper we propose a newscheduler that, using an expert system based in fuzzylogic, solves two kinds of problems: the execution ofindependent task and the execution of a directedacyclic graph (DAG). Experimental results using fuzzyscheduler show that, through our proposal, weimprove other prior schedulers presented in priorliterature.
