Abstract

Two methods, based on Frequency stuffing and time stuffing, for simulation of OFDMA systems are proposed. Both methods are characterized by enhance resolution and allow for monitoring of the influence of impairments such as orthogonality disturbance, non-ideal synchronization and jitter in the receiver. Simulations based on these methods are used for a comparative study of the performances of OFDM systems and the FBS systems using no pilot signals.
