IPv6 is a mature IP protocol technology that is supported by all major operating systems and carried by academic backbones such as Internet2. This paper reports on the deployment of this protocol at Auburn University. The deployment draws on experiences gained from other universities associated with 6NET [1] and Euro6IX projects [2]. It reports on problems encountered and those yet unsolved.
