My research work aims at overcoming the heterogeneity barriers that prevent networked systems to interoperate, thus enabling them to communicate responding to the continuously evolving networked environment. The thesis focusses on the concept of mediator connector as the key enabler for system interoperability. The proposed work about mediator connectors is investigated in the scope of the CONNECT1 European project.
