Abstract

Networked learning focuses on the connections between learners, learners and tutors and between learners and the resources they make use of in their learning. This approach to learning suggests a relational view in which learning takes place in relation to others and in relation to learning resources. Networked Learning is a distinct research area and the workshop explores five theoretical strands that contribute to networked learning and investigates the relationships between networked learning and CSCL.
