Abstract

This paper describes a generic platform for telemedicine services aimed at supporting chronic outpatients. The framework comprises a server agent and several cell phones as mobile agents through which patients and caregivers within their families may input data and receive back suggestions and advice. Mobile agents and server are endowed with domain specific knowledge in order to support users in a flexible way structured on multiple levels.
