Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel cooperative relaying scheme for next generation wireless networks mainly employing time switched transmitting diversity and bidirectional communication technologies. All possible realizations of the proposed scheme are comprehensively investigated. Computer simulation confirms the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, and that one realization using code combining method has better transmission quality and efficiency than the conventional STBC based relaying scheme.
