Abstract

The paper presents a variational based CNN (Cellular Neural Network) image enhancement method, which takes both the denoising and the increase of the contrast into consideration. Due to complete parallel processing, computing-time reduction is achieved. In the enhancement process by using nonlinear and feedback template local and also regional properties will be taken into consideration due to the propagation of the effect between the neighbors.
