We propose a recommender system for the dissemination of own academic resources in a University Digital Library (UDL). With this system the digital library offers to the university faculty the own indigenous knowledge generated in the university. The system recommends both specialized and complementary resources, and collaboration possibilities among university membership to form multidisciplinary working groups. So, this system increases the internal social collaboration possibilities in an academic environment and it contributes to improve the services provided by a UDL.
