Abstract

In this paper, we propose an efficient design pattern algorithm for the environmental and hydrologic/hydraulic ubiquitous model developments which specifies pattern names for retrieving, exploring the adapted patterns on the stage of design without pattern language that is redundant abstraction. By applying composite design pattern to the design of the recursive river and basin interface for Total Maximum Daily Load, we significantly improve the performance of polymorphism and especially of reusability than conventional basin models. Thus, this study can contribute on the reducing iterations and repetitions of up-dating and committing after the spatial data changes that are frequently occurred in the process of the environmental GIS model developments.
