Abstract

Atomic transactions involving persistent objects in Java Card System environment often creates performance bottleneck due to access speed gap between RAM and Flash memory. This paper proposes simple yet efficient way of handling persistent objects for atomic transactions by utilizing object caching and buffering. The proposed scheme significantly improves application execution performance.
