Abstract

Reusable components retrieval always attracts attention in component reuse software development. In a certain application field, reusable components retrieval could span several components database. As different component databases have special facets and different terms, it is difficult to realize reusable components retrieval, In this paper, we bring forward a component retrieval approach based on decision tree and solve certain problem of acquiring 3rd party component in some professional field. This approach has been proved in component virtual instrument design.
