To conserve energy in IEEE 802.16e, earlier, we proposed Maximizing Unavailability Interval (MUI) for Type II Power Saving Class (PSC). MUI is guaranteed to find the maximum unavailability interval. Therefore, energy consumption can be reduced significantly. In this paper, we further extend MUI for the mixture of Type I and Type II PSCs. The proposed eMUI still can achieve maximum unavailability interval. The simulation results show that the proposed eMUI reduces energy consumption and average packet response time.
