Abstract

To achieve a purpose, we carry out several works as realization ways. The information that is browsed in the same purpose may be useful in collecting information as a work. Especially, in Web browsing, it is difficult to retrieve the informative information because of the massiveness of browsing history. In this paper, we propose the Goal-Task model to organize and retrieve browsing histories by associating purposes (goal) with works (task) on Web browsing. In the proposed method, at first, browsing histories are classified in works. After that, it extracts the property of the work from the classified browsing histories, to associate works with purpose by this property. This makes browsing histories facilitated to utilize, by recalling purposes of works and referring works that have a similar property to a current ongoing work.
