Abstract

Application of virtual reality is a promising technology that combines the virtual reality approach to advanced modeling, simulation and user interface techniques [1]. Power electronics is a vital subject in the electric engineering, and furthermore, hands-on experiment is an important component in the subject. In the experiment, students cannot see the inside structure of the experiment's device. Besides, some entire experiment system is sealed and opaque. It is made against holding the specific technique of application. On the premise of no breaking the system and devise, using ActiveX technique make students deeper understanding thought out apparatus' graphical modeling from visual and movement. This paper describes how to implement virtual reality system by means of ActiveX and Mathematical Modeling, and integrating with Computer Aided Analysis (CAA) technology to apply in the education.
