Abstract

The purpose of the paper was to determine whether changes in the learning process could be assessed based on characteristic ERP and ERP changes, as well as the level of model accuracy that is required to ascertain the changes in the learning process. We presented arithmetic tasks to subjects and simultaneously recorded correct response rate, response time, and electroencephalogram (EEG). Then Event Related Potential (ERP) was calculated from the EEG. Three-step modeling was then conducted using correct response rate and response time as objective variables and characteristic ERP as an explanatory variable. These results were interpreted using the learning process model.
