Abstract

In this paper, an approach is proposed to integrate machines and services into the Web2.0 environment. An analysis is made in how a machine's identity can be described in way that is better than is currently. The new machine identity is no longer defined by investigating what a machine is able to do or what it requires, but by stating what user needs it can satisfy. That change of identity concept enables greater possibilities to connect a machine or a service with people in the Web2.0 context. The Neural Gas approach is used to establish a newly defined identity.
