Abstract

A novel extremely robust analytical procedure for the effective evaluation of the impulse response of a highly selective optimal equiripple zero frequency FIR filter is presented. The zero frequency filter is optimal in the Chebyshev sense. The computational superiority of presented procedure over the standard approach is emphasized.
