Abstract

This paper is concerned with the existence and uniqueness of positive fixed points for nonlinear decreasing operators with sublinear perturbation operators in ordered Banach spaces. A new fixed-point theorem, without the assumption of compactness and continuity of operators, is established, and an iterative sequence yielding the fixed point is also given. In addition, an application to nonlinear integral equations is shown.
