In this paper, we simulate the defects removal process using finite independent queues with different capacity and loading, which represent the limitation of developers and the ability differences of developers. The re-assignment strategy used in defects removal represents the cooperation between relevant developers. Experimental results based on real data show that the simulated approach can provide very useful and important information which can help project manager to estimate the duration of the whole defects removal process, the utilization of each developers and the defects remain at a specific time.
