Abstract

We present an accurate and numerically extremely efficient fully coupled one dimensional Schrödinger-Poisson self-consistent solver for MOS devices using the finite element technique by means of FEMLAB with MATLAB. This technique can be used for any one dimensional MOS structure. We reveal the Step by step formulation of the solver with established accuracy. The computational speed is also found to be much faster than some well known Schrödinger-Poisson solver.
