The concept of cross entropy for intuitionistic fuzzy sets, so-called intuitionistic fuzzy cross entropy, is introduced and applied to multicriteria fuzzy decision-making problems. A multicriteria fuzzy decision-making method based on the intuitionistic fuzzy cross-entropy between an alternative and the ideal alternative is established in order to rank the alternatives and select the most desirable one(s). Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate its application effectiveness.
