This paper discusses the needs of the portlet’s semantic interoperability. It shows the current situation of portlet’s interoperability. The paper suggests using semantic web service technology to enhance semantic interoperability of portlets. It proposes the portlet semantic interoperability architecture and gives some key technologies used in the architecture.
