Abstract

A virtual laboratory providing a simulation framework for discrete many-body systems is presented. The dynamics of the system and instruments are defined by programs while measuring equipment is easily implemented, edited and linked at run-time within a particular programming language. The field of application ranges from discrete difference equations, classical physical many-body systems to image processing problems; the target group are students and scientists.
