Abstract

SIP is a signaling protocol used for establishing sessions in multimedia services such as VoIP, instant messaging, and video conferencing. As SIP-aware security devices are emerging for protecting SIP-based services, it is needed for security management system to manage heterogeneous SIP-aware devices. In this paper, SIP-aware security management system is proposed. Design considerations and overall design of the system is described. And implementation and performance test is presented.
