Abstract

Because of the algebraic attacks, a high algebraic immunity is now an important criteria for Boolean functions used in stream ciphers. In this paper, Construction of odd-variables Boolean functions with maximum algebraic immunity (AI) was investigated. At first, we study the method of known construction and apply the method to construct odd-variable Boolean functions with maximum AI. Then we present a new construction of odd-variable Boolean functions and we prove that the constructed Boolean functions has maximum AI.
