The demand for network and the expense of a new wiring has caused the emergence of a network based on the existing wirings inside a home. Phone lines are one of these wirings that exist in virtually every home. There have been considerable efforts to use this wiring for in-house networking within frequency ranges that are not occupied by phone or ADSL devices. This network is called HomePNA3.0. Making use of the common features in HomePNA3.0 and Ethernet network, a reconfigurable architecture is proposed in this paper that can support Ethernet and HomePNA3.0.
