Abstract

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a new emerging technology which integrates all methods of transportation into a single manageable resource. To implement VANET, an effective network is required. General ad hoc routing protocols have been proved not suit enough for VANET. In this paper. we propose a novel vehicular ad hoc routing protocol which takes advantage of Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP) and Global Positioning Information. We use the history cache stores the movement information of intra-zone vehicles and the destination location information. so that we can predict the efficient path and the location of destinations.
