Disaster relief, education, and military are common situations where nodes need to communicate in areas without any preexisting infrastructure. In these situations, ad-hoc networks are used. Active Queue Management (AQM) bas been successfully demonstrated as a solution to tbe global synchronization problem in the context of wired networks. To the best of our knowledge there is limited research work on the effect of queuing mechanisms in these networks (multicast in particular). We provided performance comparisons of Priority Queuing (PriQ), Drop Tail (DT) and Deficit Round Robin (DRR) which are some queues mechanisms, in ad-hoc network using MAODV protocol.
