Abstract

Progress of wireless technology makes possible people to enjoy multi-media services at home. One of the wireless technologies, IEEE 802.15.3 emerges High-Rate Wireless Personal Area Network (HR-WPAN). However, Cognitive Radio rises up one of the most talented technologies to solve the spectrum allocation problem and improving the utilization of the radio spectrum resources, since communication technology expands its province and demand for radio resource has been increasing rapidly nowadays. We propose a novel superframe structure for cognitive radio mechanism in HR-WPANs.
