Abstract

This paper studies the problem of stability analysis for discrete-time delay systems. By using a delay decomposition approach and the discrete Jensen inequality, a new stability criterion is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and proved to be less conservative than the existing ones. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed method.
