Abstract

This paper considers the problem of robust H"~ filtering for state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with time delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The problem we address is the design of an exponentially stable filter ensuring an exponential stability and a prescribed H"~ performance of the filtering error system for all admissible uncertainties. In terms of certain linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem are obtained. When these LMIs are feasible, an explicit expression of a desired H"~ filter is also given. Finally, a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed design approach.
