Using the fuzzy set theory we prove that there is no indicator, at the same time aggregated and sensitive, anticatastrophic and noncompensatory. Such a result theoretically justifies the weaknesses of certain indicators used at present as well as the noncomparability of certain social issues such as the quality of life, etc.
