Abstract

The next generation all-IP wireless network needs advance mobility management for seamless global roaming while satisfying quality of service requirement for a variety of applications. The proposed work is a mobility management scheme for next generation all-IP wireless network. The scheme considers an all-IP integration model which provides a global roaming and internetworking facilities among different access technologies as well as seamless service negotiation including mobility, security and quality of service. The scheme provides minimum location update cost, minimum latency and minimum loss of packets. It outperforms the existing scheme in terms of location update cost and packet loss.
