The goal of this research is the design and implementation of Semantic storage management. Semantic storage management uses a database management model that thrives more rapid in capturing the meaning of the data comparing with other database management models. Thus, this higher-level database model enables the database designer and the users to see a conceptual view of the database. Recent research has demonstrated the potential benefits of Semantic storage management. The model uses knowledge of semantic structures and operations to improve performance, availability, and even security in ways that are precluded in traditional storage system architecture.
