The problem of H∞ fault-tolerant control is considered for a class of discrete descriptor linear time-delay systems satisfying continuous fault model. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a sufficient condition is presented to guarantee the existence of memoryless static output feedback such that the resultant closed-loop system is admissible and its H∞ norm is bounded. The static output feedback is constructed by the solution of a group of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example illustrates the validity of our approach.
